Pipeline flowchart
SPIIR reads live data from the Livingston, Hanford, and Virgo interferometers, applies per-detector data quality cleaning techniques, and passes each data stream through the SPIIR filters. A coherent search is performed on the triggered templates before being sent to the GW candidate database.
Localisation skymap
Localisation can be performed on the event triggers and a skymap can be generated to pinpoint the right ascension and declination of the GW event.
